Membership Category
WERC has three membership options: Institutional membership; Individual membership and student membership.
Institutional Membership
Institutional membership applies to educational institutions, affiliated, accredited or associated organization to Wesley community worldwide. Institutional membership requires prospective member institutions to go through a formal approval process. Once an institutional account is granted, individuals working for this institution do not automatically obtain an individual membership. However, WERC does offer a discount to professionals working for Wesley affiliated institutions. Contract terms may vary from community to community; please consult your organization for more information.
The Wesley Kindergarten ® program consists of proprietary information. The proprietary information is manifest through various Wesley Kindergarten ®program materials, such as documents, PowerPoint slide presentations, video clips, lessons, handouts, game boards, audio recordings, charts, graphs, IT infrastructure and items utilized in the presentation of the Wesley Kindergarten ® program. The Wesley Kindergarten ® program materials are subject to copyright and trademark restrictions. Once an institutional membership is approved and added in, the institution would have free access to all the content and resources about Wesley Kindergarten ® program.
Individual Membership
Individual membership to WERC is on an individual basis, and it is not included as part of accreditation. Individual membership is for professionals working in the field of early childhood development. Individual Membership has the following benefits:
- 1. In partnership with National Association of the Education to Young Children, WREC organizes regular visits to NAEYC’s annual conferences, events, training programs and other exchange activities.
- 2. Individual members enjoy a discount if they choose to take any academic programs, either for the certificate, bachelor degree or graduate degree, offered by WERC partner universities.
- 3. Individual members also have access to online resources such as digital media inventory for thematic units. Many professionals find the inventory as a great reference when building the lesson plans for their class.
- 4. Individual Members will have access to online job database and become the first to know the job openings in the affiliated academic institutions within Wesley Global Network.
Student Membership
With a valid .edu e-mail address, student members receive all standard member benefits of individual membership, while for a reduced dues amount. Also, qualified students may be recommended to internship opportunities among the schools within Wesley Global Network.
